In Surface, an intimate Reflection

   This video installation is the result and the process of my university research in art, humanities and media.

How is mad a fotonovel? How work this media supporting story telling and love affairs, romance and drama? What about the foto aestetic, composition and writing "didascalies" interaction? I explore a huge aspect of the media: psychological, visual, social, ideological, formal and the using of this forms mixed as ideological communication. it's important to analyze and to understand the real purpose of a mediatic entertainment which show human relationships as real gentle love but full of stereoptypes and patriarchal point of view.

This research is a "mediaticus codex" full of knowledges and conscious of the hyper mediatic and hyper communication society but for what spirit?

So I worked on the form as the effects and the meanings, i decomposed the story in two differents points of view: the woman and the male appear in the common story, the "diegèse" but if they could never meet themselves, what happen then ? Is the story could exist?  

I explore the subjectivity of each one, their reactions and their feelings as the common aspects: the space where they meet and the same time that it could happen, the encounter and their affects, the emotions they show or not, the thoughts they feel and conceived.

They appear together by using  the glass which reflects the movies. The installation invites two spectators to be involved in the story each one with different  audio band of each one, the female and the male. What do they understand? Should it be common, univoq? or more subjective and with different perceptions and points of view? I think more communication give one sense and use a usual form, more human can't think and develop his own sensibility and perceptions, and as an expert of multimedia communication my observation is today most of communication use ideological form, emotional manipulation, unilateral channel and one way, that is very dangerous and repress the thinking and the conscious, the construction and the expression of free and open mind I defend and teach.
